I am looking to buy new headphones/headset. I'd like to know whether the sound quality of something like Sennheiser PC 360 is comparable to Sennheiser HD 558 (I can get these at similiar price). Is Zalman ZM-Mic1 good (it's the only thing like modmic available here)? Also is a sound card or an Amp worth it for the mentioned headphones?

Sound card/amp: No, your onboard will likely be able to run them. If not, you can always buy an amp later, no point buying something you may not need. Sound cards are never recommended these days.

If you're running it of the Gaming 5 in your sig, they'll certainly be fine. I run HD600s (300 Ohm headphones) on my MPOWER, which pretty much has the same audio circuitry.

To my knowledge, the HD558's are much better sounding. I'd go for them if you can get them for a similar price.

The Zalman Mic doesn't have the best quality audio recording, but if you're not creating professional youtube videos and are planning on using it for teamspeak/skype calls, then it'll be fine.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X - CPU Cooler: Deepcool Castle 240EX - Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC

RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro RBG 3200MHz - GPU: MSI RTX 3080 GAMING X TRIO

Yes, I do have Gaming 5, and the mic would be purely for skype. Thanks.
