I have enough money to go buy a BlackWidow Chroma right now. I was about to go do so but then I realized that CES is in about a week. Should I wait and see if Razer is going to debut a new keyboard or just go ahead and get a keyboard that I am already comfortable with?

This is my personal opinion, as a fan of Razer I wouldn't buy their new keyboards since the switches aren't coming from Cherry or another good manufacturer with better quality control. But if you absolutely insist, go for it.

I'm also not expecting Razer to show off a new keyboard unless they're revamping their tournament edition with backlit switches.

Many (myself included) will question your choice to go for Razer. Regardless, yeah I'd say wait till CES is over.

I always go with them, I know that they cheap out and charge too much but there customer service is amazing and their products work well for what I use them for.

Well I do not really like the switches too much so, I could get the Stealth version which uses MX Brown.

The chroma is pretty new, and from what I've seen they are putting out updates for the software side of it so I doubt that its going to be replaced any time soon.

With CES so close though, really you may as well just wait till its over, if your current board is doing you fine till then. Its only a week to wait.

Heads up though, neither of the keyboards, stealth or otherwise use cherry switches. Both use the Razer ones, which are versions of the Brown and Blues by Cherry, but are not made by Cherry.

If I where you I'd be more likely to go the Corsair route to get the Cherry reliability that we know about, instead of the some that aren't as well known/trusted.

The Chroma line uses Razer's (Kaihl's) new switches. The Green switches are the clicky MX Blue emulator and the Orange switches are the more quiet, MX Brown emulator.

If you can find a Blackwidow with actual Cherry switches and not Kaihl's, then go for it.

I know everybody raves on about Corsair peripherals, but I don't like them too much. I have a BlackWidow 2014 now but I have a Naga Epic Chroma now. I kind of want them to match. You probably understand how I feel.
