I have an Asus p8z77-v lx, and since a bought it, just 1 slot of 4 worked, but I was ok with it.

I bought a new ram stick, the same model as the other, but when I put it on the slots, It just works by putting the sticks in the slots B1 and B2.

And it doesn't work at all, because with memok, or either underclokits to 800 MHz or overvoltages at 1.6v and the bios its unstable.

Help please I want to trow out, this piece of sh&€t.

If I remember right, B1 and B2 are where the rams should be to run in Dual channel mode, A1 and B1 won´t work, some for A2 and B2. I don´t know why your bios is unstable.

But remove your powercable from your powersupply and remove the mainboard battery (silver/chrome coloured battery penny sized) for atleast 30 seconds.

I hope this did help you.

Simple checks I would do are: Are all of the cables connected properly? Have you reseated your CPU? (My friend had a problem with ram slots and it turned out to be some bent pins on the CPU socket of all places). If possible make sure and update your BIOS.
