Bad noise, GPU or PSU?

Hi all, got a new GFX card today. I installed it and ran Skyrim heavily modded (as it should be played ) and I noticed a TERRIBLE noise from either my GPU or PSU... I am trying to knuckle it down to one of the two and believe it is the PSU, as others have had the issue. I am not sure if this is coil whine or not as I have never heard it before and am wondering if it is something to be worried about; any help is appreciated. Here is a qucik video of the noise. It is worth noting this only happens in-game, not when at desktop etc.

What GPU did you have before?
It's definately coil whine, and it won't damage anything.

My PSU whines like a little ***** when i start far cry 4, but that's the only time i've had it whining.
If the GPU you had before used just as much power as this card (970, right?) then it's probably your GPU.

If your older card used lesser power it can possibly be both. 

 

Is the coil whine consistent when playing?

I used intergrated gfx before, been so looking forward to maxing Skyrim . It does it in FC4, just cheeked but it is not as bad. *sigh* seems like PSU, best thing to do is to buy a new one i guess or just suck it up for now, you guys sure it is nothing to be worried about?

Wow, I missed your post, so once the card has 'worn-in' it should disapear?

Sweet, just started to notice it also does it when using the PC on desktop etc buy a lot less, much more bearable. May even stop trying to get a sexy looking rig and just get a silent case; between my pump noise and now this; it is driving me insane.
