What I have so far

G3250

Gigabyte GA-H81M-H

750ti (Already have this)

cheapest 4gb ddr3 ram (can hopefully upgrade to 8 at a later date)

"cool looking" case/psu leaning towards this http://www.microcenter.com/product/357902/Thermal_Master_Mid_Tower_ATX_Computer_Case_with_500W_Power_Supply

Can I reclaim a 500gb harddrive/windows from an old laptop?

What else do I need/want?

I'm aiming at sub 200$ It'll mainly be playing minecraft/doing schoolwork

Yes, you can use a laptop HDD if you'd like. Just make sure it's at least it is 7200 RPM because 5400 RPM is just too slow nowadays. I would shy away from a built in PSU if you're gaming, rendering and/or editing -- they tend to be pretty bad.

What's your budget and the use?

Looks good. You can use that laptop hdd.

I have used that case/psu in 3 builds this year and all flawless. Go ahead.

Don't get a case with an integrated psu, they are seriously terrible. Get a cheap case and a corsair cx430.

I'd buy a seperate psu if i were you.

That is a Coolermaster OEM and decent quality.

I have built 3 systems this year with that combo and nothing wrong. G3258 and 750ti is no problem here.
