Antec Generic PSU

Hello,

 

I made my friend buy Star Citizen so that he can play with me but we got a little problem, the game doesn't load, it gets stuck in the loading screen.

 

Since the only part below the requirements are the GPU, I know that is what we need to upgrade, particularly because the game is installed on an SSD.

 

I could borrow him my GTX 660Ti but his computer has a generic Antec PSU and I'm not even sure if it has any 80+ ratings on it.

 

Since it's Antec, it should be fine even without any fancy branding right ? (If the voltage is sufficient of course)

 

The current card is an HD 5700 (pretty sure I could be more precise but it's what's written in the OS)

 

Do you think I could swap the cards without breaking mine because of a bad power supply ?

You will have to check the serial number/voltages on the psu first.
