What is "Mouse Acceleration"
Go to solution
Solved by A Bubble,
Lets say you moved your mouse 1 inch per second for 5 seconds and it moved the cursor 50 pixels. That's 10 pixels per inch of movement.
Now, lets say you moved your mouse 3 inches per second for 5 seconds, the logical answer would be that it moves the cursor 150 pixels. With acceleration this could be 200 for example, basically anything more than what you'd expect.
In competitive play etc, this can make a HUGE difference.
