There is no personal gain with folding, but you can certainly help Stanford University and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology calculate and run tests on a distributed super-computer to find cures for things like Ebola, Cancer and a host of other modern day medical issues. There isn't that good of a benchmark for these kinds of things but you can expect it to be decent enough. I managed to fulfil the needs of the F@H badge in only about a day on my Macbook Pro so that build could do a lot better.
