Grid 2 Stuttering at a certain level

At a certain level in grid 2, the audio becomes stuttery and it constantly stutters. Any other level it plays fine. I've tried lowering my settings to the bare minimum. Does nothing. 

 

It only happens at the Euro Rand Cote D'Azur Race (VilleFranche-sur-mer)

 

Usually plays on max just fine on any other track.

 

Also, sometimes when racing, it'll randomly hang for a second then continue and my HDD will be at 100% utilization in task manager. 

 

Help?

 

EDIT: Just started doing it on other tracks.

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.
