Just finished building my computer and started to install Windows 8.1 onto my ssd via disk. The first time I got all the way up to getting online before it totally froze. I was unable to use the mouse or the keyboard. The second time I tried installing it from scratch again and I got all the way up to installing apps before the same thing happened. Can anyone give me any ideas as to what I can do to fix it. Thanks

Yes, in my mobo's bios everything appears to be working properly and is being picked up. I've seen some people say that maybe the cpu isn't getting enough power?

Hmm...well I'd hazard a guess that could be it. :)

Did you buy a Windows 8 CD or make it your self?

If you did it your self, download a diffrent ISO and try a USB boot.

What BIOS do you have? Is it a Windows 8 Compatible one?

Check for Windows 8 Boot Features and Windows UIEF Boot etc
