It will go in, you just have to push stupidly hard lol. Try not to stress the motherboard though. I hate that about the 24pin connectors.

I'm using the Corsair PSU CX600M and MSI motherboard Z87-G45. The 24-pin connector of the PSU doesn't click to the clip although it goes all the way in. This causes shutdown to my computer whenever the connector is unstable and about to fall off.

If the locking problem is on the cable itself buy a 24pin extension cable. Tape the other end(where you will connect the 24pin to the extension) so that it wont fall off
