Razer Deathadder Double Click Issue

Hi guys, Im new in this forum and i don't know if someone has posted this thread before. I would hear and see if any of you have been facing double click issue on Razer DA 2014? it basically means when i perform single click it sometimes becomes double click effect just like an example where i click on a folder(select), it tends to open that folder(double click action). Any solution of this issue?

2 options if warranty is up.

 

open up the mouse and oil the microswitch or replace the microswitch inside.

could I get a new mouse replaced with Razer if the warranty is not dead yet?

You could try taking some compressed air and blowing it between the buttons on the mouse.  Other than that you can get the mouse replaced.

I've watched some videos about the solutions but I'm afraid that if I damage the mouse during the process and later on I can't claim for my warranty.

well, if it's still in warranty, contact razer and find out if they'll cover it.

I've never dealt with their support.

You could try taking some compressed air and blowing it between the buttons on the mouse.  Other than that you can get the mouse replaced.

This solution worked for me in my Logitech G400  . Gonna try my mouse for some more time if it will happen again.

It's just compressed air so it's not going to damage anything.
