I was looking at picking up this: http://www.moddiy.com/products/10%252dPin-USB-Motherboard-Internal-Header-to-USB-Female-Cable-Adapter.html

I think I understand how it works but want to make sure. So does one end plug into a USB 2.0 port on my motherboard and the other end work as a normal USB port?

I want to use this for Bluetooth connectivity for my PC, but don't want to have a usb dongle plugged into my rear / top IO

Yes, you connect it to the motherboard and use the bluetooth dongle with it. its better than using the back USB ports imo.

PS: The dongle will be inside the case

Yeah, I knew that last part, just wanted to make sure this is the product I wanted. The reason I wanted the dongle to be internal over external was I just don't want to lose it.

Can you recommend a good Bluetooth dongle by chance?

Isn't the PC case a faraday cage than? And the connection will be very bad?

From what I've experienced using friend's rigs, no. I have good friend who uses a solution like this so he can use his Dualshock 4 controller for his PC, and it works phenomenally.

The reason he uses a DualShock 4 with his rig is for racers, some platformers, and mouse control for when he's in bed watching Netflix and stuff like that,

I do the same by using DS4Windows and a bluetooth USB dongle :)
