I need you guys to make me an exactly $700 dollar build with windows 8.1, that can overclock, and has a gtx 970. I really want a build for Christmas because now I hate console. Thanks!

Can we get $850? A 970 alone is $350, which really limits the rest of the build.

EDIT: Here's what $850 looks like (with rebates). I'm still not in love with the CPU/Mobo, storage, or PSU, but it should be able to overclock (a little) and run games like a champ.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor  ($88.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($74.98 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card  ($349.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case  ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $826.89
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Probably the best I can do. I would recommend a different GPU so you could have better components overall. You're sacrificing quite a bit for a 970 here

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor  ($88.99 @ NCIX US)
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M/USB3 Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard  ($44.99 @ Micro Center)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card  ($349.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: NZXT Source 210 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case  ($32.99 @ Micro Center)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($24.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $737.41

This is solid, but you won't be able to overclock the cpu b/c it's locked. It's a core i5 haswell though so it'll be plenty for gaming. Also I could only get to $700 mark with mail-in rebates, so I think it'll be $750 initially

CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($168.99 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 54.8 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($14.99 @ Micro Center)
Motherboard: ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($74.78 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card  ($137.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case  ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($49.99 @ NCIX US)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $695.69

Here's another option with a better GPU:

Video Card: Asus Radeon R9 280 3GB DirectCU II Video Card  ($194.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply  ($24.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit)  ($89.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $695.02
