RAM compatibility

Hi there!

 

     Soo, I was looking through the manual of the Maximus Formula VI and I was reading the "Memory compatibility" section. I have Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB of RAM 2400Mhz, but in the "2400Mhz compatibility" section of the manual, only the 4x4Gb and the 2x8Gb Dominator Platinums were listed.

 

     So now I'm really confused if it the system will work or not (by the way, I bought 2 sets of RAM, so I have two  2x8Gb sets of Dominator Platinum, not a 4x8Gb set, but I read in the forum that this works too). Can anybody explain to me if it will work or not?  :wacko:

RAM: 2x2x8Gbs Dominator Platinum

CPU: i7-4770K

GPU: GTX 980
