I am building my rig and I wanted to know if I have to get a network card or does the motherboard also provides wireless networking because I wanted to go wireless, since no cable is reachable to my room because the router is in the living room and somewhat I don't have and router compatibility.

It looks like you need a network card, you can find some cheap ones for less than 20 to fit in a pci e 1x slot though.

This is the one I personally have. Hasn't failed me and I have had it for over a year. Not that I use it much anymore, currently on wired.

I am doing gaming btw

Get the cheapest wireless ac card that uses the pci interface. I'd go with the Intel 7260HMWDTX1.

I have a Gigabyte one with a black PCB. It works rather nicely. Model number is GC-WB867D-I.

Than if you can consider wired connection as you will have lag with wifi.

No you won't. I do it just fine, and my ping maxes out around 23ms in less than optimal conditions.

Yep, same connection as your home internet

You connect one end to the router using a short ethernet cable to the nearest plug socket, and put the other end near the PC, connect the cables up sync them and they work over your power lines.
