Hey guys, I was looking about OC'ing my GPU but was wondering what would be the best voltage would be to run it at?

Also, would it be worth CrossX' ing this card or just upgrade to a single GPU?

I reckon crossfiring that card for $100 give or take a couple of tens is quite worth it for the performance you get although i dont know if your mobo accepts crossfire  as the only MSI B75 mobo that supports crossfire is the B75A G43 Gaming, if that isnt your mobo just sell the 7870 and buy a R9 280/280X, R9 290 or GTX 970 (listed in performance/price from lowest performing to highest performing)

Depends for how much you can get your 2nd 7870, if you can get it for like 70-90$ it probably is worth the performance gain, however im unsure wether your MB will support crossfire since its B75...

The 290 @ stock 947-1040mhz (depending on model) is about 2x as fast as the 270x (7870-OC)

If you can get a good deal I'd go for that over the 280/280x series.

Or.. if Crossfire is do-able on your motherboard then 2x 7870's would be pretty nice if scaling was near perfect and if you can get the second one for under $100.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I crossfired my r9 270x's and they worked great! No stuttering issues of any kind...well...there was this one issue. In demanding games like crysis 3 and bf4, I could only play the game for about 30 minutes before my cx600m psu turned off! I think it has enough watts, but not enough amps for the cards.

So I ended up selling one for $90 on Toms Hardware deals section of their forum.
