Hi everyone, i'm looking forward to build a gaming pc, after some research i think i have an idea of the components but i need some suggestions about it.

 

Here is the part list:

 

CPU: Intel core I5-4590 3.3GHz (1150)  $253,27

 

Mobo: Asus H97M-E  $130,71

 

Ram: Kingston DDR3 8Gb (2x4Gb) 2400MHz  $130,72

 

GPU: EVGA NVidia Geforce GTX 970  $522,88

 

Storage: (HDD) Western Digital 1TB Caviar Blue $85

 

PSU: Corsair CX600M 600W 80plus bronze $102,2

I have a budget of USD$1300

 

PD:I'm from chile so the prices are an aproximation with the dolar price at USD$1= $612

Looks good, but :) .

 

The case is ATX and the motherboard mATX. The motherboard will fit but will look a little small in the case. You might consider getting an mATX case like the Cooler Master N200, Fractal Design Core 1100 or Core 1300. Or go with an ATX motherboard like the Asus H97-Plus.

 

Higher speed memory will not provide a noticeable performance difference in gaming or general use. Unless the memory in the OP is priced very close to DDR3-1600 CL <= 9, it probably is not worth the extra cost.

 

It would be good if an ssd could be squeezed into the budget.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
