I've had a Radeon 7770 Ghost card for over a year, and want a solid upgrade.

I'm looking to spend around $200-$250, but a little under or a little over is fine.

I've already looked at the GTX 760, and it seems like an okay choice, but I'm not sure. Also I've looked at the Sapphire R9 280x, and I was going to get it, but it's out of stock on Newegg, and I thought I could get a better deal on something on Cyber Monday.

Lastly, I would prefer if it would work with my existing 430w PSU, and need no more than about 250w just on the card. But if I really need to get a new PSU, so be it.

Thanks a lot

My best tip is to get a card where they are working with the DEV of the game you are playing.
Like if you play alot of games from ubisoft, get nvidia, to get better performens in the games.
Do you play alot of Battlefield 4? get AMD and use mantle.

If you just play all kind of games? 760 is cheap and great. i got 2x 760 and love them. or 970 is like a 780 really great card.

You sir, have a wonderful day ?  | Sorry for my bad dyslexia English  :(

Okay thanks, which website is good for finding new PC parts besides Newegg and Amazon? I've been researching different cards that people say are like $250, but they are all like almost $400 lol.

If you're looking at the GTX 760, make sure you check the R9 280. Don't buy a GTX 760 for the same or higher price as a [faster] R9 280. The 280X is faster still. There's nothing wrong with the 760, per se, but just make sure you're getting a spectacular deal on it.

For $250 you should be able to find an R9 280X, possibly even an R9 290.

Alright, sounds good. But, which brand of the R9 280X/290 should I get? I would totally get a sapphire, but I'm not sure if it will fit in my mini ITX case (Bitfenix Prodigy)

They are making some mini card you ITX system :)

Asus and gigabyte make mini GTX 970

MSI make a mini AMD 270x

Maybe there is more out there i don't know of :)

But if you remove the top HDD case you should be able of putting a graphic card up to 320mm in that case.

Quick look on asus site the AMD 280x is 284mm, So i will thing if you don't need that top HDD case you can almost have any GPU you want (almost).

What brand you need to get? Just get one with custom cooler. MSI and ASUS i have used and they are really good :) But just get one with custom cooler and look for what game come with the grafik card or warranty.

Hope this will help you :)
