Hello Everyone.

I have a new Microphone and it is a Plug and Play USB. I plugged it in and it was unspecified. Did driver update/download but only the USB Composite Device Is ok but not the "PnP Audio Device" it has an exclamtion mark by it.

It shows Code 28 By it but there are no drivers for the microphone..

My Mic here:

Any solutions? Thanks.

Next time, read the ratings with 1 star. Amazon customer feedback:

I bought the black version because it was 2$ cheaper and I liked the look, however, it does not recognize it as a c media audio device, but as a generic pnp microphone with no options and weak sound.

Stay away from the black edition sold by an amazon seller.

Shall I do a refund then?

Ok, i tried. All usb microphones that were rated 5 stars beyond 60$, sound crappy, or break in 3-8months.

This is the only microphone in your budget with good ratings, BUT non usb powered.

You need an XLR input or an XLR to 3,5mm adapter. But if you use your onboard microphone jack, the sound may be very quiet, with background noise.

To avoid this, you´ll need a new soundcard with better built in microphone amplifier, thats about every asus soundcard above 20$ Xonar etc

Maybe you should wait to see what other members say.

PS: thats the microphone i suggested http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SM48-LC-Dynamic-Microphone-Cardioid/dp/B0002D0HY4/ref=sr_1_16?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1417113336&sr=1-16
