Gr. 12 CHEM help!

I don't know if I'm allowed to ask for chem help on this forum but I'll do it any way. Sorry if I'm not allowed.

 

The question I need help with is part of organic chemistry and it asks which is more soluble: n-pentanol or neopentanol and why.

 

I would say neopentanol but can't really explain why. Any chemistry wizards out there?

What's the IUPAC name for neopentanol? And what is it's chemical structure?
