Hi Guys

I am looking to build a pc for gaming and have a budget of around £450

I would like it to run farming simulator 2013 on high, and enable me to play most of the upcoming titles, eg. battlefield 4, does not have to be maxed out setting for the other games.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Martin

Wow very low bugdet for high expectations. Emm. Check this build. Just to be clear some compromises had to be made.

CPU: FX 6300(92 £)

CPU Cooler: Use the stock one or get this one(25£)(to be honest you wont overclock, so you don;t need something more than the stock cpu cooler

MOBO:  Micro ATX(52£)or ATX(63£)

Case: If you chose Micro ATX.(60£) If you chose ATX.(49£)--> I would go with Micro ATX, because fractal has higher quality cases)

PSU: Corsair CX500W(45£)

RAM: Corsair XMS 8GB 1600 Mhz(39£)

GPU: HD 7850(150£)

SSD: Kingston 120GB V300(65£)

For a grand total of: 503£

I highly recommend spending 50£ more, otherwise you will have to do big compromises.

What I would do in the future is buy a 2TB WD Green or Black drive for Mass Storage.

Hope it helped mate, it took me quite the time to build this rig.

CPU: AMD FX-6100 Black Edition @3.9GHz GPU: XFX 7970 DD (1062/1520 MHz) MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth 990FXA(1st Revision) RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB @ 1333MHz Storage: Corsair Force 3 120GB(Boot) + WD Green 1TB(storage) PSU: FSP AURUM 600W(80+ Gold) CPU Cooler: Cryorig M9a  Case: NZXT Tempst 410 Elite(Mid-Tower) Mouse: Logitech G602(Manufacturer Refurbished) Keyboard: Noppoo Choc Mini(Cherry MX Blue) AUDIO:Sennheiser HD 598+ASUS Xonar DGX Monitor: LG M2280DF 21.5" 1080p(TN-75Hz)

I'd rather remove the SSD and put something like the 7870XT, it would be more helpful for him in games ;)

Then you could add a SSD in a few months when you get some money, you don't have to have it at first, you can easily add it in the future.

EDIT : Nevermind, I didn't see that it was that cheap and that you didn't include a HDD ;)

If the budget is strict you can take Stav kats build and swap the CPU/Mobo for a Athlon 750k and a fm2 mobo, maybe swap the psu for the 430W version if needed

Stuff I have I like: Moto G - Superlux HD681 Evo - Monoprice 9927

90% of what I say is sarcasm.
