I havent played BF4 on pc in months and decided to fire it up today, but it seems to be in some kind of update loop. Every time I update it, it asks me to update again and again. The updates take like 2 seconds which is weird. Anyway to stop this update loop so I can play the game?

There's been a moment where EA had pop ups that the game files should be removed and redownloaded. They once screwed up an update causing such a loop. But you said "months" so that would be weird, but you can give it a go.
