Earphones on PC

I don't know why but I've tried 1 shitty earphones and 2 20-ish$ ones but non of 3 will work properly. They produce something but with a lot of distortion. Anyone else experienced same problem? Why is that?
(2 oif them do not have a microphone)

Have you tried the back panel I/O and the front panel. Try and disable the audio drivers from the sound area. Maybe it's something there. If everything fails. Buy a cheap USB DAC which will bypass the motherboard audio chips which also may be the main problem.
