Yes it will, after a long period of time (let's say a year) your thermal paste will degrade slowly and affect your temperatures. It wont be improved THAT much, but certainly 4-7 degrees. I think it is worth since thermal paste is not that expensive.

my brother GPU is 6 years old and he never changed his thermal paste..

Is it dangerus?

My laptop is roughly 3 years old. I game a ton on it. Is the thermal paste probably completely evaporated?

No it is not dangurous, but he will see an increase in performance once he replaces thermal paste.

I will mail him right now :)

So with that paste i can pus my R9 270 little bit further its already overclocked like 270x :)

Mine is a little less then 3 years old. Recently it got louder and louder and temps on the CPU started rising. I openend my laptop, removed the cooler, cleaned it off with 99% isopropyl alcohol and finally added noctua's thermal paste. Put everything back together, and in result my laptop was silent again. This is just a little maintenence some people do , other people will just complain that they have problems with their laptop overheating at a local store. That store will send it for RMA or a regular repair. When it gets repaired 9 out of 10 times the thermal paste will be replaced.

Yes. Better cooling results in the ability of putting your voltage higher. Wich then results in higher clock speeds.

gpu vendors tend to slap paste on with a mortar trowel, so changing out the TIM should improve temperatures by a large amount if its good paste, which should help with overclocking stability. I would recommend tuniq tx-4 as its non-conductive and improves temperatures by 5-8C compared to arctic silver 5 (for gpu's). I've yet to see any paste beat tx-4, or even match it. when It happens, I will switch.

I just change my laptop paste and my exhaust became more cooler at an instant,

and first time I check my laptop gpu , i just shocked with how bad the manufacturer ,I believe its their worker who puts the paste very poorly and probably use cheap grade paste
