$700 Gaming PC

MattTheMayor

Location: USA
Budget: 700 can be a BIT more

Target: Gaming, maybe a little editing with photoshop

Prefer: Easy cable management, make it simple for a first build, Optical drive and OS (windows pls)
Monitors: For now, 1 maybe 2

I had a pretty solid builds list. My mom disagrees of me building a computer because I might break it, even though it is my own money. Because of that, she is looking for a desktop that I can get (which I hate). She usually finds some bad desktops, but today I don't even know how she found this: http://www.frys.com/product/8117745?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG . I really really really want to build a computer so I can have the experience. The forums previously helped me get really awesome build parts before, so I trust you guys to give me the best list you can make.

Cheers <3

Oh bloop, forgot the games I would be playing. I have BF3 waiting to be played on. Hopefully getting GTA since #pcmasterrace. But yeah, those are the highest component-hungry games I will play. I don't need it to be MAXED to the brim. But I would prefer a smooth gameplay

I don't need to include the monitor within the price so that's perfectly fine. The list looks great! But is the 200R an easy case to build in?

I know it's over budget but the 970 throws it over quite a bit.

I would say it's worth it, but if you can't afford it downgrade to 290.

300R is a good case to build in and has a lot of room under the backplate. The 4160 has two physical cores and 2 threads (unlike a g3258) and has better single core performance than a fx6300. The rest is pretty straight forward, and the graphics card is up to you.

I appreciate everyone for the lists. But I would much prefer the os to be included in the price of 700 or a bit more

But yes, if someone can make a really good list including the os in the price with only the max of 750, I will love you forever and you can become my papi <3

I recommend this method along with my original build. R9 280x and GTX970 is a huge performance difference.

I always look at reviews on Newegg and they seem pretty good for a graphics card.

I'd post the build here again  just to see if there are any better solutions for the price.

How does it work on G2A? Does it just give me a code? If so, how would I put it into my new pc?
