1. Budget & Location
My budget is $ 1,000. I can stretch a built. I'm in the united states.

2. Aim
My system is meant for School work, projects. I do edit a lot of photos using GIMP, importing/exporting RAW files. I'll be doing some free steam gaming, I rarely buy games. My aim for the system is to have a theme. I'd like it if you guys used a H440, or S340 in the build also. I want a Red/Black theme, or a Blue/White theme for my build. I could take advantage on all the cores in the future as games start to use it more, and for video editing. I'd like if you guys used either a i5 4th Generation Haswell, a Xeon E3 1230 v3, or an FX 8320/50 in the build thanks.

3. Monitors
I need a monitor as well. A IPS display. 1080p or higher. Minimum 60 Hz refresh rate.

4. Peripherals
I have a mouse and keyboard, i defiantly need a Windows 8 OS

5. Why are you upgrading?
Since i travel back and forth between Sacramento, and San Jose a lot. I left my system at my uncle's house so i have something to use, and no the system isn't "spec" out

with the monitor of the quality you want, you should be willing to stretch your budget.

I just bought and am using a 1440p Asus pb278q

http://www.amazon.com/PB278Q-27-Inch-LED-lit-Professional-Graphics/dp/B009C3M7H0

(It goes for $460 if you wait until its available through prime, it's only $498 b/c of 3rd party).
