High ram usage / games fps drops

I've already made a post about it but it looked like it was fixed for a day/two now im getting pissed off again as it wont stop, i get very high fps drops from 80 to 1 every second in nearly any new game, even in just cause 2 which is pretty old. I already did virus scans using malwarebytes but nothing came up and cleaned the pc with ccleaner.

 

specs -

 

cpu - i7 4790k

gpu - gtx 770 msi twin frozr 2gb factory OC

psu - cx750m

ram - 2x4gb goodram (1866)

mobo - z97 gaming 3

 

I also was told that Killerenthernet 2000 (or whatever) was causing this and i should update my bios so i did, it worked for a day/two and nothing now..

This happened to me when I was using up all of my RAM while gaming, because I liked to leave stuff running in the background.

 

Open a game and pull up Task Manager on the side, and monitor your RAM usage.

Same happens to me when playing bf4 with firefox open using like 2.5gb of ram.

I have 8gbs of ram in total and whenever i hit 6.5gb of ram usage game start to drop frames and i can see me gpu usage going as low as 1.

Could it be that ram cant keep up with cpu and gpu?

I figured out it has to do with temps as when cleaned and leaved my case open i had 0 to little drops.. any idea why so high temps?

Bad airflow? describe your set up, i mean case and stuff

Hmm.. talked with my friend a bit and we came back to the ram.. i checked my mobos ram compatibility and the goodram ram isnt there so i guess this could be the problem? i get very high "hard faults/s" in the device manager and i read it has 2 do with ram. Thinking of buying corsair vengeance pro 2x4gb it says its supported and few of my friends recommends it, do you think the ram might be the problem or is something else causing this all?

Try running the Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool and choose "Restart now and check for problems". If it detects any errors, you know that the RAM is the problem.
