Hello guys! I am not a heavy pc user. I dont own 3000 gpus in crossli (tm by Linus Sebastian). I don't run heavy threaded workloads. I am just insane. I want a 4930k when it goes on sale to encode my 1080p Game Of Thrones episodes with air video server to watch them on my huge 32" HD Ready TV (yeah you read right). (I would add The Borgias to the list but the f***ers from showtime are dropping it). I am 400$ short. Any contributions are welcome!

Why do i always get blue screens? Why not a red one for a change?

How about you try to be a little more realistic if your budget is short. How bout an AMD FX system? Will do fine for your needs.

I know i'm just crazy. Also, i live in Greece, we are broke here people.

i have a i7 930 OC @ 4.0 Ghz and it tears the enconding apart.

Wanna trade with my i7 860 and crappy Intel matx motherboard?

OC it and see what happens.

Besides the 2+1 VRM design, there's no voltage control on the DP55WB.

For that price, you could buy a 3770k, a mobo and a cooler, OC the b*&%#h and see what happens!

I would say it is your money, do what you want with it, but you live in Greece, so it is probably technically partly my money (I live in Germany) :)

A 3770K overclocked to 4.5-4.6GHz would likely do the same job as the 4930K for at least half the price. That is, if they are even bringing out a 4930K.
