Ok, I'm looking for a quick guide on where to start in repairing an XFX 7970 that doesn't show in Computer Management. I know solder going bad can be repaired in an oven, this card was used for bitcoin mining by previous owner, but I did have it working with the stock DD cooler on it before I put a g10 on it. So I don't think that will be my first step since its a fairly newer card. I put thermal adhesive tape with copper blocks on the ram chips and Vram but 4 fell off (I'll end up taking them all off), not really a big deal since I'm running stock on a non-boost card (yeah, I should have repaired the broken fan on the stock cooler, but that would be no fun!). I haven't gotten a multimeter out or inspected for signs of shorts but from seeing the card during installation, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. Another weird area side avenue is this post http://

Thanks for your help in advance guys!! BTW I know how to use a multimeter just maybe overthinking this, maybe just need to know where to start first.
