May i ask how many VRM heat sinks do i need if i wanna install the kraken g10 on my r9 290x? And also is it recommended if i install the g10 only on one card (i am planning to go 2 way crossfire 290x) while having my tri-x on my other card?

Something like this is perfect.

Designed to go straight on a 290x card.

But should i get g10 on both of my cards or does putting g10 on a single card would do? I am trying to prevent thermal throttling (which i think would happen if i were to xfire 2 290x... With a single 290x i am getting 45 degrees C idle and 75 under load....)

Just put heatsinks on every chip there is on the card to put it simply

I've put a G10 on my 290 with a H110, some random 2002 Zalman heatsinks

35° on load

Hmmm but should i go g10 on both cards or just one?...
