PSU for 280x

What's a safe psu for overclocking this sucker

(cpu is just a g3258)

Enthoo Primo - ASUS Maximus Formula VII - 4790k 4.8ghz 1.28v - EK Supremacy Evo Clean - 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical - 1000w EVGA Supernova Gold - 2x Alphacool Monsta Rads in push/pull - 2x Galaxy 780 HoF with EK waterblock

550w should hold up fine however maybe a 600/650w with enough cable expansion for 2 way CFX. (In the future for 280X/7970)

I own one and use a "cheap" cx750 to power it... I would trust 2 r9 280x though on the 750watt i have. The other posters are probably right in saying that a quality 550w would be the best bang for buck if you only plan to use 1 card

 

Personally though, I think it's pushing it if you want to use a 600watt in CF with this card... (as a poster above said)

Thanks all. The main reason I asked is because in the Newegg details it says 750w but that might've been for CFX, but it didn't clarify. Just wanted to be sure.
