I have recently tried to overclock my reference GTX 980. i have found a stable overclock for my gpu core and dialed it back a little. It runs at an offset of +250 of 1466MHz and boosts to 1503 without throttling in valley. I went on to overclock the memory and I went in increments of 50. I Kept increasing the frequency and now it runs at an offset of +400 at 7410 and im not sure if theres anything wrong it runs valley fine without artifacting and during the overclock it just kept going. I have heard of other peoples experience where the memory overclock just does not work. Is my card's memory freq too high? Is the memory just a good overclocker? Will it run too hot in the long run? will my card be unstable? Im not really sure but it seems to be fine and i hope someone can tell me if something is wrong or not.
