Hopefully this helps http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Prototype#Multi-monitor I know it says "Multi-Monitor" but it can also be used to enable widescreen resolutions in the game too.

Uhh. I picked up Prototype during the Halloween sale and i just sat don to play it today. I cant get the resolution past 1280 x 800. It is really pissing me off as i have a 1080p monitor. Also i cant turn AA own. Btw I've tried running it in windowed and setting it there, though it allows 1920 x 1080 when i go full screen it goes back to 720p. How to fix?
