Will this work well?

So im putting together a new computer and I want to put an Evga GTX 970 in it but im not sure how well it will work with my other components. I plan on putting an ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer AM3+ AMD motherboard, an AMD FX-8350 8 core processor, and some Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB along with the GTX 970 in this computer. I was just wondering if that Nvidia graphics card would work well with all those AMD components.

Yea, it will work perfectly fine. You can do any CPU + GPU combos and they'll be compatible.

They might be competing companies but they're not so far gone into their rivalry that they'd deny compatibility with each other. That'd just be silly. :P

From what fanboys say, those are the only people I trust, if you put a Nvidia card in a system with an AMD CPU it will create a small rip in the space time continuum and you be transported to another dimension where GabeN works for EA or Ubisoft.
