Didn't get H100i fan power cable? Mobo alternative

I have an Asus Z97-a motherboard with 4 chassis fans in the motherboard. Do I need the two water cooler fans connected to the fan power cable or can I plug both fans into different chassis slots on the mobo? When doing that they spin at different rates though.

You can plug the fans into the pump using the included adapter that will let you control the fans' RPMs through Corsair Link

They are just standard 4 pin,you can plug them into any fan header. Just make sure the pump is plugged into the cpu header and it is set to a constant speed.

Connect the pump.to a chassis fan header, run it at or near 100%. You could also plug the pump into Molex if you want to save a mobo fan header.

Plug the 2 fans into CPUFAN and CPUOPT.

Don't use corsair link, it's buggy. Control everything through fan expert.
