New build

Hi guys, so my brother has joined the army. He made videos before that and still plans on making videos. I plan on selling my old pc/ pc parts to make him a nice rendering/ gaming pc. Here is what my old computer had:

 

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-G1.Sniper A88x (Most likely would sell)

CPU: AMD A10-5800K (Most likely would sell)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Seidon 120M (Re-use)

Video Card: 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 7870's (Most likely sell)

Case: Azza Toledo 301

Power Supply: Cooler Master 750W (Might Re-use)

 

 

So as you can see, it was a decent gaming rig, except for the fact I had a APU and 2 graphics cards. I already made a new computer that is much better, and much cheaper. So for my brother build, as I said, I wanted it to be a rendering machine with some gaming. I'm not sure how much the budget is, but cheaper is better. I've come up with 2 builds that I thought would be great.

Also, how much would you guys think I could get from the motherboard, cpu, and video cards? Or what builds would you recommend using the stuff I already own? I would like it to be a mini pc, it will be easier to transport.

If you're going with a new build, there is no point buying into a dead socket, get an i5 4460. 16GB is overkill if you're just gaming.

If you're going with a new build, there is no point buying into a dead socket, get an i5 4460. 16GB is overkill if you're just gaming.

It's going to be a rendering build, and some gaming.... hense the 8 cores and the 16 gigs.
