The PCB on the 270X Dual-X is a custom version.

The reference radeon coolers are not that good, unless you are talking about reference pcbs.

The Dual-X is a non reference cooler design from Sapphire. So no, it is not "reference designed". The PCB itself, is the same as all other 270X's.

usually on entry level cards the manufacturers dont make non-reference pcbs. so most likely the Sapphire 270x dual-X has a reference pcb

No such thing as a reference 270x. Do you mean reference PCB?

 

The Dual-X is a non reference cooler design from Sapphire. So no, it is not "reference designed". The PCB itself, is the same as all other 270X's.

He/She would be referring to the PCB, as they mentioned the Dual-X variant of the 270X, so that obviously rules out the question of the cooler design type. 

And btw, the 270X does in fact have a non-reference PCB, so I guess it'll have better power delivery and thus better OC potential.
