Studering and Update Failures

Hey guys, so I replaced the WD Black 2 in my computer with a 120 GB SSd to put it in my Bitfenix Prodigy build I'm doing. Anyway, after installing Windows 8 Pro I did Windows updates and when it was restarting, it froze at 30%, after a hour, reset and when it was doing updates booting back up, it froze again at 30% again, same thing, it is back on now but after about 30 minutes of use, it studiers really bad, so I restart and its fine for another 30 minutes. Can anyone give me some help? Thank you c:

Welcome to windows 8...
This is an issue that much like the update failure loop, will sort itself out.
Just continue doing updates, or letting it boot loop, and eventually it will fix itself.


This is especially annoying when you have a computer on the bench for a few days because you have to let windows 8 finish its menstrual cycle.

Probably a good thing I chose not to install 8.1 on my SSD and just put my Windows 7 copy on it instead.. Will get Windows 10 when it is out for a bit. At least that answers why a friend of mines computer does this then it goes away and comes back.
