Xbmc HELP! PLZ!

Hello everyone.

I just brought a Raspberry PI and put XBMC on it but when I go to add a video source(My PC) and go to browse , smb , workgroup, then pic my PC it asks for a username and password.

I put my user name in and password but it shows that i have put my username in but when i but my password in it doesn't connect and sat's in the lock settings screen.

How are you planning to share your media? You want to reach the data on your PC? Take a look at this and get back if you're still having trouble

Im running windows 8.1 if that helps

Since I'm not using windows myself I cannot try it but I'd go through the guide again; and then I'd install Linux!

Does anyone have anything, I cant get passed the username and password screen, I have looked at loads of websites and cant find anything.
