I have seen many H440 builds and I really want to build one but my question is - does the components I'm planning to use are enough for gaming/designing purposes?

Components:

Priced around $1500, please also let me know if you happen to know a better build with the same budget or lower.

Thanks!

Get an MX100 SSD, cheaper and in the real world, similar performance :)

EVGA G2 PSU, Corsair RM have cheapy internals whereas the G2 are made by SuperFlower and are pretty much the creme de la creme

Why not go for a GTX 970? New architecture etc, similar/less price to that 780 as well!

Otherwise looks great

i5 4670k - Z87X-UD3H - EVGA GTX 670 Sig 2 - Samsung 840 Evo 250GB - 8GB Avexir Core White 1600Mhz - Corsair 750D w/ RGB LED Mod & Remote Control - 2x SP120 - 3x Enermax Cluster - 2TB Seagate SSHD - Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 - SuperFlower Leadex Gold 750W

I have seen many H440 builds

I bought it, too.  It's so nice to look at.  :)

I also bought those SP120 fans.  I have them mounted to the top vents; no water cooling for me.   I couldn't get the screws on the fans tightened all the way down, though, before the colored rubber corners started to torque really bad.  I can slide the fans back and forth.  Doesn't matter though... they don't move on their own because the robber corners stop vibration.  They stay put.

It's a real nice case.  I counted all the fans the other day and realized there are nine total (including power supply and video card).  It's still really quiet.

Very good :) Possibly some faster RAM also? Not that necessary but would be nice to have it. Otherwise really nice!
