I'm looking to upgrade from my iphone 4 to an HTC one in the near future however my biggest concern using it in the car hands free. With my iPhone sure I can plug it in and make it work but what I love about it is what it can do with Bluetooth. I'm not sure what model it is but it's a bluetooth enabled JVC deck I picked up for a $170 bucks last year.

Anyway using Bluetooth on my iPhone I can...

-Use voice commands

-place and receive calls

-browse contacts with my deck controls

-play music via bluetooth

-play/pause/frwd/bck through songs from my deck controls

-have album and song info display properly and neatly through the screen ( I have a button to flip between, album name, band and song)

Would I be able to have all these things with an Android device? Or are all of those things unfortunately present strictly to cater towards the iPhone?

It may sound pretty petty but I make use of this ever day.

Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

Android Support

Android support is provided via Bluetooth® using AVRCP 1.3 and SPP. Download the free JVC Android app and control the headunit directly from your phone. Switch sources, access USB devices, change CD tracks and radio presets, and play back audio from all your applications directly from your Android device. With your phone mounted on your dash, you can also use it as a secondary, high-resolution display for the headunit. AVRCP 1.3 also lets you control supported applications directly from the headunit, including stored music and internet radio applications, with simple 'swipe' controls for skipping tracks, changing folders, adjusting EQ settings and much more. Plug in your phone's USB cable to one of the USB ports on the headunit to also charge your phone.
