GTX 780ti GPU Load

Go to solution Solved by vorticalbox,

Will this really help? I will try it when i come home. thanks for the replies tho :)

well it could explain why using chrome would stop the GPU from idling.

the little bar on the right is usage, the graph is FPS and the bottom is well self explanatory

hey, my gpu's are idling at 60c celsius when i dont play games. the core clock is at 876 mhz when i use google chrome and spotify. i really dont know what actuall problem can be, so it will be really nice if someone could help me out, and tell why this is happening.

Greetings from Norway :)

Sounds like your gpu isn't downclocking for some reason. At times it happens to me too. It's not really an issue as long as gaming load temps don't go past 82c. The gpu is supposed to fall down to 324mhz when idle but it does not always do that with chrome open. It's much more likely with no apps running.

You mean FPS Counter right?

sorry on a chrome book runnning ubuntu it's shocking how many "tools" you need to install just for simple that comes in windows ^_^

anyway yeah fps counter will show an on a  graph when HW acceleration happens on the GPU and current gpu memory usage. edited above post with screenshot
