(I'm 13 btw if you couldn't tell already)

i3 is decent for the time being.

If you have a H97 or Z97 motherboard, wait until next year then get a broadwell i5.

If you are looking for a good heatset, the hyperx cloud will not disappoint.

The MX100 256 / 512 GB are both very good value for money options in terms of SSDs.

2nd holy font batman!

also, you said you had your cousin help you build a computer already? can you post the specs so we know what we're currently working with to see what ought to be upgraded first?

Well it depends on how much you really can spend I would say...

In general I think the thing you would profit the most of at the moment is getting a SSD. Your system boots way faster and if you get one which is a little bigger storagewise you can install your most played games to that.

I don't know which i3 you have exactly, but in general it should be enough to play most games I guess and a new, really good CPU will be I'd say nearly twice as expensive as a SSD.

A headset to be honest is the last thing I would spend much money on if I don't have much to spend. It is kind of necessary when you play online a lot, but as long as you have a working one, I wouldn't consider getting a new one before having bought the two other things you'd like to get, because in my opinion it is the least important one of the three!

I run over your budget by about £20 but of course you could always make adjustments:

Note that these parts are not picked based on any colour co-ordination but should look fine anyway

Ok 320€ is more than it sounded in your original post...

You could almost get all 3 of them for that if you don't want to necessarily have the latest high-end things!

For example a i5 4690K is about 200€ (ca 160£), a 120GB SSD about 80€ (ca 60£) and you should be able to get a headset for max 50€ (ca 40£) which is ok to use.
Overall 260
£, slightly over your limit but this are no exact values so it should be possible to save the 10£ ;)
