Upgrading my rig

Hi y'all! I'm planning to upgrade my rig because at the moment IMHO is heavily unbalanced, here's the specs:

 

MoBo: ASUS P5KR - ATX form factor

RAM: 4 x 2 GB DDR2 800 MHz @ 871 MHz

CPU: Core2Quad Q8200 2.33 GHz @ 2.95 GHz

Cooler: Scythe Infinity with 2 x 120 mm fans in push/pull

Case: Corsair Obsidian 650D

GPU: Sapphire HD 7870 GHz Edition 2 GB GDDR5

PSU: Thermaltake SP-630P

Storage: 120 GB Kingston SSDNow V300 + 2 TB Seagate Barracuda 7'200 rpm

 

I actually play lots of FPS games such as a great part of the Battlefield franchise, actually running on a two monitor setup (each at 1440x900 res) maybe I'll add a third monitor at 1080p or change them all, depends on the budget/deals. Budget should be invested in good CPU/MoBo/RAM combo, no more than 250 €. I thought about some 3rd gen Core i5 or something similar, but I don't really have a preference for AMD or Intel; I just need best bang for my buck .

EDIT: If possible I'd also like to get a decent (at least) cooler within the budget, I just hate stock coolers lol.

I know right . This happens when you have a 300 € budget and in a bad need for gaming lol. Used to run pretty well at 720p with my beloved 5770
