I just received my Logitech G700s today and for some reason my Left and Right scrolls will not work.

Like when i'm trying to scroll back a page in my browser it wont work or when i'm in My Computer.

I programmed the Left scroll and Right scroll buttons in Logitech Gaming Software to open different files and that seems to work.

Just the left and right scrolling doesn't work. Everything else seems fine. I don't know if this is just happening to me but yeah.

I also have the same problem. Just bought the G700s mouse and the left and right scroll doesnt work. Ive double checked all the settings is right, on board or system memory, nothing works

I tried to bind another command to the left/right scoll wheel and those work, but just not the left and right scroll function. Not on file explore, not on chrome, not on any slider adjustment bars...nothing

For me I found the polling speed for usb of my mouse needed to be tweak to fix some probs when I was gaming.

Some solutions from logitech that might help:

And from a logitech forum user:

Hey guys,

I had the same horizontal scrolling problem, tried updating to the latest LGS software (version. 8.53.150). But no success. Anyways i reassigned the left scroll to "left" keyboard arrow key and right scroll to "right" keyboard arrow key. It works perfectly fine for now in browsing and all applications. Lets hope this is fixed in the next LGS software update."

Hello!

Had the same issue with my G700s with LGS 8.90. I simply could not scroll in Excel 2013. With my old MX1000 and SetPoint it did work at the same time.

Contacted the Logitech Support and although they were friendly and came back with ideas to use key combinations they could not give me a real solution. :-(

So I tried it with macros and found the following solution - see picture attached (sorry for having it in german only). It is a fast running macro using the SCROLL and the ARROW buttons from the Keyboard. Works very fine in Excel, Web Browsers, Adobe Reader, .... but not so fine in Word (as the cursor starts to move).

However you might like to try this out - maybe it's a good solution for you too!
