Not at all. Some ISP's may attempt to throttle packets with some known default p2p port destinations to try and counter the load that "pirates" put on their networks. So changing it from the default is not a bad idea.

Hello, does the port matter to the upload?

 

like 52953 get's you a better upload speed than 60716 (as an example) ?
