Customize wallpaper on android

Recently I switch from iPhone to Andoid and I'm in love with the amount of customization! Recently I been using go launcher prime and wondering if I can set each swipe to move in the home screen and change the background with it.

Is it possible? Or this the wrong section... And should be in programming?

If it possible, am I going to need to root the device?

im pretty sure you can do that with nova launcher

I haven't used Go Launcher, but Atom Launcher has a theme maker that you can set different wallpapers each time you turn the display off/on.

Wow never heard of atom launcher but from the video it look awesome! Going to test it out.

Still having issues with atom launcher with the theme... It only allow me to use square crop image instead of full vertical image I have. Anyone got a suggestion?

Also... What is the resolution for htc m8 go launcher use to pan through the wallpaper? I know it not 1080x1920....

Is your wallpaper landscape or portrait? I know with Nova portrait wallpapers won't scroll. Also are you using Go Launcher or Atom Launcher?

 

Edit: When using both of the launchers mentioned, I got them both to scroll with this wallpaper:

And when I used the portrait crop it didn't scroll. Like this:

I used Nova to crop it because its easier to, but both of the mentioned launchers have the option as well.

well i'm using go launcher but what i want to do is as i scroll through the page it change picture or every time i power on the device it would switch. I still have yet to find a App that let me do that but soo far LOVE THE GO LAUNCHER~
