G-Sync 1080p vs 1440p

NoodleAssassin

Hey everyone, what do you guys think I should go for? Assuming that I have the graphics horsepower to get a solid fps at both 1440p and 1080p, Do you think it would be better to go for a G-sync 144hz 1080p monitor, or a 60hz 1440p monitor, for gaming

If you play FPS games, then 1080p@144hz, otherwise 1440p.

I have both a 144 Hz 1080p display (no g-sync) and a 1440p 60 Hz display.. Although the experience of gaming at 144 FPS(or 120) is truly awesome, I do the vast majority of my gaming on my 1440p 60 Hz display just because the high resolution PLS panel makes everything look great.

Unless you're either a pro gamer or complete smoothness-addict, 1440p @ 60 Hz is probably a better choice.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems
