First ever watercool.

Go to solution Solved by Sklo,

How would it compare to build a PC (I would consider that very low-low effort as I find it very easy :)

there is plenty of guides, not hard at all, it is just not cheap, 300-500$ more with ease.

Hi,

I was wondering about watercooling, specificaly building a custom watercooling system for my build. I know next to nothing about watercooling, so I was wondering if somebody could help me and tell me just what is needed to build a custom loop and what is involved in it.

Thanks

cpu block and/or gpu block

rads

tubing

pump

coolant (either premixed or distilled water)

reservoir

fittings

building a water cooling loop is hard because there alot more planning and prep for it, compared to a normal air cooled system.

Look in the water cooling section of the forum. There are sticky posts at the top that have all the info you need to start watercooling.

Ok thanks :)

I was going to get it to cool my OC 4790k (got 4.5GHz currently on air), and my brand new GTX980 (not because it needs it, just because it will look cool :P
